Obituary

Mr. Alan Dale Loy, 57, of Plainville died at his home, following a sudden illness, on Tuesday, May 15, 2018. Alan was born in Gordon County on October 21, 1960. He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Laverne Loy; by his brother, David Loy. Alan was a professional driver for Cedar Creek Trucking. Alan was of the Christian Faith and loved his fur babies.
Alan is survived by his wife, Deborah Ann Loy; his mother, Kathryn Harris; his step-daughter, Heidi Overby; his brother, Scotty Harris; his sister, Carol Hunter; other relatives and friends.
The Loy family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home on Saturday, May 19, 2018 from 11:00 until 1:00 p.m. The funeral service will follow the visitation on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
