Obituary
Albert Jerry Gann, 73, of Calhoun, died Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at his home, following four years of declining health. He was born in Chattanooga, TN on February 6, 1945, son of Easlee Craig Poole and the late Albert Gann. In addition to his father, Jerry was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Shirley Elizabeth Mullins Gann in 2014; and his sons, James Gann in 1972, Lynn Gann in 2010, and Randy Gann in 2014.
Jerry was an avid outdoorsman, especially loving to deer hunt. He was a member of Paynes Chapel Methodist Church.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Billy Hamrick; his mother, Easlee Craig Poole; a daughter-in-law, Cris Gann; grandchildren, Christopher Gann, Joshua Gann, Casey Gann, Kayla Williams, Mary Gann, and Elizabeth Caldwell; great-grandchildren, Braylon Williams, Jason Gann, Sawyer Gann, Kolson Gann, and Kate-lynn Williams; a brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Sandra Gann; and sisters, Sharon Sylvester and Edna Ford.
Services to honor the life of Albert Jerry Gann will be held Friday, November 16th at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Paynes Chapel Cemetery on Lookout Mountain. Pallbearers serving will include Christopher Gann, Joshua Gann, Casey Gann, Elizabeth Caldwell, Dustin Lavallee, and Eddie Lavallee. Honorary pallbearers are Keith Hall and Brandon Towe.
The Gann family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, November 15th from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
