Albert Lee Serritt

Mr. Albert Lee Serritt, age 79 of Calhoun, passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at Floyd Medical Center.

He was born on September 23, 1930 in Gordon County, son of the late Cecil and Cleo Bechlor Serritt. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Agnes Silvers Serritt; a sister, Ruby Hall; and two brothers, Alvin Serritt and Cecil Wayne Serritt.

Mr. Serritt is survived by two sisters, Sara Cochran and Betty Gentry; and three brothers, James Serritt, Vernon Serritt and William Serritt, all of Calhoun. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside funeral services for Mr. Albert Lee Serritt will be conducted Friday at 11:00am from the family lot of Sugar Valley Baptist Church Cemetery, with Rev. Eddie Brannon officiating. The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home on Friday morning from 9:00am until time to depart to the cemetery for the service.
