Alek Patrick Baldwin

Alek Patrick Baldwin, age 6, of Adairsville, passed away Saturday, August 18, 2007 at Cartersville Emory Medical Center. He was born July 23, 2001 in Gordon County, son of Tony and Melissa Michelle Baldwin. He attended Adairsville Elementary School.

Alek was preceded in death by grandfathers; John Baldwin and Randall Young.

Survivors include his parents, Tony and Melissa Michelle Baldwin; two brothers; Aulbry Swade Baldwin and Aspen Blake Baldwin, all of Adairsville; grandparents; Janie Smith of Plainville, and Sue Young of Ranger; a step-grandfather, Mitchell Ross of Ranger; and a great-grandmother, Linnie Mae Tate of Ranger. Aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.

Funeral services for Alek Patrick Baldwin will be conducted Wednesday, August 22, at 1:00pm from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Steven Dean officiating. Interment will follow in the Fain Cemetery. Active pallbearers will include Darrell Smith, Jason Baldwin, Danny Wells, Jr., Jason Young, Keith Young, and Jonathan Bradshaw. These gentlemen are asked to meet at the funeral home Wednesday at 12:00pm. Honorary pallbearers will include Tony Childers, Dave Adams, and Steven Young. They are asked to meet at the funeral home Wednesday at 12:45pm. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, after 5:00pm.
