Alex Wayne Feagin

Mr. Alex Wayne Feagin, age 48 of Calhoun, GA passed away Monday, August 22, 2011 from injuries received in an automobile accident. He was preceded in death by a brother, Tim Allen Feagin in 2010.

Alex was born on June 19, 1963, in Brooklyn, AL, son of Jack and Carolyn Alford Feagin, and had been a resident of Gordon County for 29 years. He was owner-operator of Al's 41 North Car Wash, and had formerly been employed with the Gordon County Sheriff's Department. He was a member of Coosawattee Lodge #306 F&AM. Alex loved the outdoors, and was an avid University of Alabama fan.

Survivors include his wife, Kathy Reeves Feagin; three sons, Joshua Feagin Jacob Feagin, and Zach Feagin; a daughter, Avaida Feagin, all of Calhoun; parents, Jack and Carolyn Feagin of Brooklyn, AL; a step-son, David Gladney of Calhoun; and a step-daughter, Keisha Gladney of Douglasville, GA. Other survivors are grandchildren, Devin, Jayla, Nathaniel (Nath), Tye, and Avah; and a step-grandson, Dominic Gladney.

Funeral services for Mr. Alex Wayne Feagin will be held Saturday, August 27th from Foreman Funeral Home in Andalusa, AL.

The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Thursday from 1:00pm until 8:00pm.
