Alexis Reed

Alexis Michelle Reed, age 26, died in an automobile accident in Sandy Springs on November 25, 2009. Alexis was vibrant, energetic, and shinning. She lived a short but full life, with a growing future that had no limits. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by so many.

Alexis is survived by her mother, Melonie Lawrence Pillman of Kentucky, and father and stepmother, Phillip Todd Reed and Kelly Reed of Lawrenceville Georgia; and brothers and sisters, Brian and Brittany Pillman, Jesse Morgan, Skylar King, Kelsey Kalen and Emily Reed. She is also survived by her loving grandparents, Howard and Elaine Edge Dasher of Calhoun, Sue and Bill Lawrence of New Smyrna Beach, Florida, and Emma King and Warren Reed of Lawrenceville Georgia. She will be dearly missed by her boyfriend, Dr. Todd Roberts of Cobb County, whose unconditional love was her emotional safety.

A positive influence on Alexis' life was her special aunt, Jean Edge Ross and her husband Cliff of Douglasville, and her close cousin and mentor, Cindy Hunter of Hiram. With doors and hearts always open she leaves several aunts, uncles, cousins, and too many friends to count. The family held a memorial service on Wednesday December 2, 2009 at Tom Wages Funeral Home Lawrenceville Chapel.
