Obituary

Allen Carter Parks, 70, of Plainville, Ga passed away Thursday, February 4, 2021. He was born on October 23, 1950 in Ellijay, Ga to the late William and Bonnie Shepherd. He was preceded in death by his two brothers, Tim Parks and L.E. Parks.
Allen spent most his life in Calhoun, before moving to Plainville 6 years ago.
He is survived by his son, Heath Parks (Patricia); daughters, Melissa Bankston (Chris), Tonia Lowman (Gregg); brother, Thomas Parks; sister, Jennie Childers; grandchildren, Josh Smith, Devon Smith, Whitney and Britney Parks, Jamie Parks and nine great-grandchildren. Nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.
The family will receive friends on Friday, February 5, 2021 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 Pm at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
The funeral will be held Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Pastor Joseph Wilkey officiating. Burial will follow in Scott Cemetery. Pallbearers include David Greeson, Gene McEntire, Anthony Wilkey, Cody Park, Tommy Payne and Josh Smith.
