Mr. Steven Andrew Silvers, age 17 of Oakman, GA died Tuesday at his residence. Andrew was born in Gordon County on December 27, 1993, son of Steve and Susan Buttrum Silvers. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jack and Barbara Silvers.

Andrew was a young man who was full of life and liked to spend time with his friends and family. He loved working on his car, the outdoors, and had a big and loving heart. He was an 11th grade student at Sonoraville High School and a member of the 2013 graduating class. Survivors include his parents, Steve and Susan Buttrum Silvers of Oakman; two brothers, Austin and Justin Silvers of Oakman; grandparents, J.M. and Doris Buttrum; a very special uncle, Jody Buttrum, with whom Andrew spent a lot of time working on his car; other aunts and uncles, Pat and Ricky Stanley and Gerald and Janice Chastain; and special cousins David and Alyssa Buttrum. A host of other relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Steven Andrew Silvers will be held at 3:00pm, Friday, August 19th from Fairview Church of God, with Rev. Mark Johnson and Rev. Freeman Hamrick officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Church of God Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be Justin Delong, Jody Buttrum, Jonathan Silvers, Matthew Silvers, Calob Lay, Randy Hunter and Chris Baldwin. Honorary Pallbearers are Bo Hightower, Matthew Stanley and Teddy Buttrum
