Ann Faulkenberry Parton

Mrs. Ann Faulkenberry Parton, 53 of Ringgold, GA, formerly of Calhoun, died Saturday, March 12, 2016 at her home. She was born in Gordon County on April 2, 1962, daughter of Geneva Talley Klotz and the late Alvin Willie Faulkenberry.

She was a graduate of Calhoun High School.

Survivors include her sons, Joshua Johnson (32) of Dalton, and Jacob Sloan (26) of Calhoun; her mother and step-father, Geneva and Donald Klotz of Resaca; a brother, Jimmy Faulkenberry of Resaca; sisters and brother-in-law, Faye Kelley of Resaca, and Sue and Tom Pickle of Sugar Valley; and nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Services to honor the life of Mrs. Ann Faulkenberry Parton will be held Saturday, March 19th at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Dwaine Shadix officiating. Interment will follow in the Sugar Valley Church of God Cemetery. Pallbearers will include Kevin Talley, Randall Talley, Adam Talley, Joe Talley, Clinton Moore, and Billy Talley. Honorary pallbearers include David Lee Kelley and Matthew Pickle.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, March 18th from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
