Ann Ruth Jackson

Mrs. Ann Ruth Underwood Jackson age 79 of Rock Creek Road, Calhoun, died Sunday December 18th, in Redmond Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Jackson was born in Summerville, Georgia on September 12th. 1931, daughter of the late Carl and Edna Jackson Underwood. Mrs. Jackson was a member of the Sugar Valley Baptist Church and was a member of the Young at Heart Sunday School Class, She was preceded in death by two grandchildren; Jacob and LaDonna Jackson and by brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her husband, Claude Jackson Jr. to whom she was married to for 59 years. One daughter, Debbie Bone and her husband Larry of Calhoun, three sons; Jerry Jackson and his wife Sheila, Darrell Jackson and his wife Neci and Mike Jackson all of Calhoun. Thirteen grandchildren and twenty two great grandchildren and other relatives also survive.

The funeral service for Mrs. Ann Ruth Underwood Jackson will be held Monday December 20th. At 3:00 PM from the Sugar Valley Baptist Church with Pastor Mitch Phillips officiating. Interment will follow in Gordon Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers serving will include; Scott Bone, Todd Bone, Jesse Jackson, Scott Marshall, Christopher Lawson and Donnie Cochran.

The Jackson family will receive friends on Monday at Sugar Valley Baptist Church from 1:00 PM until the funeral hour at 3:00 PM.
