Arnold E. Hudgins

Arnold E. Hudgins, 58 of Calhoun, died Friday, January 15, 2016. He was born in Gordon County on January 25, 1957. He was preceded in death by his father, James Hudgins and a sister, Connie Diane Hudgins and step mother, June Hudgins.

He is survived by his wife, Sherry L. Hudgins; his mother and step father, Wilma and Guenter Schmitz; sons, Heathe Hudgins and his wife Jonie and James Shelton; daughters, Casie Fisher, Melana Dugger and her husband Michael, Holley Maddox and her husband T.J., Nicole Greeson and her husband Nathaniel, Nicky Dennison and her husband Dennie, Selina Smith, Jennifer Shelton, and Sherhonda Womack and her husband Jeff; brothers, Randall Hudgins and his wife Dava and Buddy Hudgins; sisters, Vickie Garcia Long and her husband Clayton "Julio", Melinda Landcaster and her husband Buck, Lisa Wagnon and her husband Curt, and Regina Howard; and 30 grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews whom he loved.

The Hudgins family will receive friends on Monday, January 18, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be conducted on Monday, January 18, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. Interment will follow the services at Damascus Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers serving are Clayton Long, Curtis Hudgins, A.J. Wagnon, Nicky Edwards, Michael Duggar, Mario Porras, Jesse Young, Denny Dennison, and Randall Hudgins.

The family suggests that flowers be omitted and donation be made to the burial expense fund: In Care of Max Brannon and Sons, P.O. Box 1027 Calhoun, GA 30701.
