Arthur Carl Lee

Mr. Arthur Carl Lee, age 65 of Resaca, died Saturday morning, October 13, 2007 at Gordon Hospital.

Mr. Lee was born on January 07, 1942 in Decatur, Alabama, son of the late Carl Luther Lee and Elgie Berry Lee. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Eugene Lee and James Lee. Mr. Lee retired from military service having served with the United States Air Force as a Communications Officer and as a civilian with the United States Navy. He was a member of Ladson Baptist Church in Ladson, South Carolina and the American Legion, and DAV Chapter.

Mr. Lee is survived by his wife, Pat Helms Lee to whom he was married for sixteen years; sister-in-law; Christine Lee; nieces and nephews; Kandi Johnson, Kristi McBee, Linda Lee, Theresa Lee, JoAnn Singley, Jimmy Lee, John Lee, Danny West, Kenny Lee, Frank Lee and T.J. West; and great nieces and nephews; Jamie Lee, Brittany Lee, Megan Lee, Bradley Lee, Christopher Singley, Christine Singley, Brandon Lee, Amanda Harbiston, Katie Harbiston, Faye Harbiston and Christine Lee.

Funeral services for Mr. Arthur Carl Lee will be conducted Monday at 3:00 p.m. from the New Town Baptist Church, with Rev. David Ray officiating. Active pallbearers serving will include Jimmy Lee, Kenny Lee, Jerry Helms, Clyde Stephens, Adam Duvall and Bobby Duvall. These gentlemen are requested to meet at the funeral home Monday at 2:00 p.m. Honorary pallbearers serving will include John Lee, Frank Lee, Bradley Lee, Brandon Lee and Christopher Singley. They are requested to meet at the church Monday at 2:45 p.m. Interment will follow in the Chandler Cemetery with military honors. The family will begin receiving friends at Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home Sunday after 1:00 p.m.
