Arthur Edward Robertson

Mr. Arthur Edward Robertson, age 55 of Calhoun, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2011 at his residence following an extended illness.

Mr. Robertson was born on August 10, 1955 in Floyd County, son of the late Arthur L. and Barbara Hutching Robertson. He was self employed in the construction industry.

Survivors include his wife, Bonita Diane Barnes Robertson, to whom he was married for thirteen years; two daughters, Amanda Moore and her husband Michael of Douglasville, and Jessica Taylor of Calhoun; two sons, Brian Robertson and his wife Kim of Dothan, AL, and Michael Taylor of Dallas, GA; a sister, Barbara Logan of Houston, TX; and a brother, Kenneth Robertson and his wife Cathy of Acworth. Grandchildren surviving are Brandon Taylor, Grant Thomas, Alliea Taylor, Garrett Thomas and Michael William Taylor. Nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Arthur Edward Robertson will be conducted Tuesday at 2:00pm from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Chaplain Dave Smith officiating. Mr. Robertson's body will be cremated following the service. The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Monday from 5:00pm until 8:00pm.
