Mr. Arthur Lynn DeCamp, 73 of Calhoun, died Sunday, June 14, 2015 at his home. He was born in Alma County, Michigan on July 10, 1941, son of the late Robert Frederick and Beatrice Eleanor Wilson DeCamp. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Lawrence Johnson; a brother, Dwight Johnson; grandson, Larry Fuller, Jr.; and several aunts and uncles.
Mr. DeCamp was a veteran, serving in the US Army. He had been employed as Production Manager with Church Chair; he was a member of the Calhoun Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
Survivors include his loving wife of 51 years, Sharon Decamp; four loving daughters and their husbands, Carol and Doug Morse, Tammy and Amos Washington, Wanda and Gary Moore, and Teresa and Billy Burns; thirteen grandchildren, David Morse, Joshua Morse, Natasha Morse, Victoria Crawford, Audry Davis, Darius Washington, Travis Newberry, the late Larry Fuller, Jr., Whitney Martin, Cody Burns, Chandler Burns, Tiffany Moore, and Daniel Moore; and 21 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is his special friend, Cindy Strickland; and his horse, Jack.
Services to honor the life of Mr. Arthur Lynn DeCamp will be held Thursday, June 18th at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Pastor Wendell Stover officiating. Interment will follow in Chandler Cemetery with military honors. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers, and granddaughters will serve as honorary pallbearers.
The DeCamp family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, June 17th from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
