Obituary

Rev. Bailey Oliver, 73, of Calhoun, GA, died Sunday, September 6, 2020. He was born in Gordon County on March 24, 1947 to the late Sollie B. Oliver and Virginia Crider Fuquea. He was also preceded in death by his son-in-law, Larry Anderson.
A minister, He pastored Amazing Grace, Evergreen, New Hope and Curryville Baptist Churches. He was a member of Plainview Baptist Church.
He is survived by his loving wife, Gail Oliver; son, Maxwell (Lorrie) Oliver; daughter, Stacey Anderson; grandchildren, Brittney (Matt) Young, Katie Oliver, Josh (Shania) Oliver, David Anderson, Drew and TJ Oliver; great- grandchildren, Jaxen Oliver, Amelia Oliver, Tristan Hunter, Lincoln Young, Sadie Oliver, Bailey Oliver and Deacon Young.
The family will receive friends Monday, September 7, 2020 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM in the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at 2:00 PM from Plainview Baptist Church. The burial will follow in Haven of Rest Memorial Park. Pallbearers include Josh Oliver, David Anderson, Drew Oliver, TJ Oliver, Matt Young and Micheal Owens. Honorary pallbearers include Philip Oliver, Anthony Oliver, Jaxen Oliver, Lincoln Young, Tristen Hunter, Deacon Young, Bailey Oliver and other cousins.
