Barbara 'Barbie' Rankin

Barbara "Barbie" Ann Rankin, 46, of Calhoun died at home on Saturday, September 30, 2017. Barbie was born in Fort Oglethorpe on September 13, 1971. She was preceded in death by her father, Rembert Lee Rankin Sr.; her son, Hunter Nations, also preceded her in death in 2014. For thirty years, Barbie worked at Gordon Healthcare Center.
Barbie is survived by her husband, Barry Weaver; her mother, Linda Rankin; her daughter, Brittni Reams; her son, Cory Rankin; her brother and sister-in-law, Lee and Judy Rankin; her sister, Laura Rankin; her grandchildren, Landon Reams and Emma Reams; her grandmother, Laura Brown; her nieces and nephews, Morgan Avery, Cody Rankin, and Paige Roland.
The Rankin family will receive friends on Monday, October 2, 2017 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. The funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, October 3rd at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Chandler Cemetery. Pastor Wesley Hunt will officiate. Pallbearers are Michael Stallings, Ron Langley, Tony York, KC Brandon, Brent Lee, and Jeff Amos; honorary pallbearers are Lee Rankin and Cory Rankin.
