Obituary

Barbara Worley Burkhart, 76, of Calhoun, Georgia died Tuesday, September 27, 2022, after a month of declining health. She was born on May 18, 1946, in Calhoun, Georgia to the late Conley and Estelle Carden Worley. She was preceded in death by her son, Keith Phillips; brothers, Bill Worley, Richard Worley, Louie Worley, and C.H. Worley; sister, Linda Pasley; son-in-law, Cary Gentry.
She is survived by her loving husband, Randy Burkhart; daughters and son-in-law, Tracy (Jeff) Thacker and Kelly Gentry; brother, Johnny Worley; 9 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.
The family will receive friends Thursday, September 29, 2022, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
The funeral will be conducted on Friday, September 30, 2022, at 11:00 am from The Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Fain Cemetery. Pallbearers are, Jason Phillips, Justin Phillips, Brandon Biddy, Jaden Thacker, Jeff Thacker, and Greg Pasley.
