Barney Lovett Jr

Mr. Barney T. Lovett Jr., age 61, passed away January 8, 2014 from injuries received in an automobile accident.

Mr. Lovett was born on September 18, 1952 in Fort Myers, Florida, son of Ethel Robinson Lovett and the late Barney T. Lovett Sr. He was employed at J and M Hardwood.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Henry Lee Lovett; a sister, Melissa Lovett; step-father, Edward Bell; a niece, Myranda Keough; and a nephew, Billy Ray.

Survivors include his mother, Ethel Robinson Lovett of Fort Myers, FL; two brothers, Duane Lovett of Calhoun and Bill T. Lovett of Tennessee; and three sisters, Polly Sparks of Tennessee, and Jeanne Lovett and Mary Follendore, both of Fort Myers. Several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Memorial Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Barney T. Lovett will be conducted Friday, January 17, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Jether Cochran officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
