Benjamin Franklin Anderson

March 18, 1931 — October 26, 2009

Mr. Benjamin Franklin Anderson, age 79 of Mountain City, Tennessee and formerly of Gordon County, passed away Monday, October 26, 2009 at Gordon Hospital following four years of declining health.

He was born on March 18, 1931 in the Oakman Community of Gordon County, son of the late James and Nancy Bell Anderson, and was a disabled veteran of the United States Army.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by brothers, James, Henry, and Ernest Anderson; and sisters, Betty Jo Southerland, Kat Bennett, Ruth Craig, and Bal Owen.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Mr. Benjamin Franklin Anderson will be held at Hopewell Baptist Church in Oakman on Saturday, November 7 at 11:30am, with Chris Gibson officiating. Interment will follow in the Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery.
