Benjamin Lamar Crosby

Benjamin Lamar Crosby, age 87 of Macon, Georgia passed away peacefully on Wednesday evening, May 6, 2015 at Calhoun Healthcare in Calhoun, Georgia.
Mr. Crosby was born on May 1, 1928 in Brooks County, Georgia to parents,
Audley J. Crosby and Nita Pearl Peace Crosby.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Betty Causey Crosby, March 9, 2014 to whom he was married for 66 years; a daughter, Annette Crosby Parks, daughter, Melinda Crosby Jones, and a son, Benjamin Lamar (Sonny) Crosby, Jr.
He is survived by a daughter, Carolyn Crosby Collins and her husband, James Collins of Calhoun, Georgia; son, Adam Crosby of Macon; grandchildren, Jennifer Collins Sterling, Kevin Collins, Kelly Collins Pendley, Rickey Smith, David Smith, and Justin Crosby; niece, Peggy Crosby Moore, and nephew, Jack Crosby; and 13 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
