Benjamin Thomas Vedo Ii

Mr. Benjamin (Benji) Thomas Vedo II, age 41 of Calhoun, died Wednesday, February 1, 2017, in Dalton, GA.
Benji was born in Duluth, MN, on February 16, 1975, son of Iva Jean Vedo and the late Benjamin Thomas Vedo. He had been employed with Kerry Ingredients for the past 14 years at the Canton and Calhoun, GA plants. He was an avid runner, having ran in various regional meets, as well as in marathons. He ran 60 miles a day while training.
Benji is survived by his wife, Jodi Lynn Vedo of Calhoun; his son, Andrew Vedo of Calhoun; his daughters, Lillian Boman of Minnesota, and Katelyn Vedo of Calhoun; sisters, Natalie Vedo, Susan Vedo and Darlene Vedo, all of Minnesota; and his mother, Iva Jean Vedo of Minnesota.
A Memorial Service will be conducted Monday, February 6th at 7:00 PM from Blackwood Springs Baptist Church, with Pastor Paul Whitton officiating.
The family of Mr. Benjamin (Benji) Thomas Vedo II, will receive friends between the hours of 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM on Monday February 6th at Blackwood Springs Baptist Church, located at 4921 Fairmount Hwy. SE, Calhoun, GA 30701.
