Bessie Mae Tinch

Mrs. Bessie Mae Tinch, age 79 of the Scottsville community, died Monday, April 11, 2011 at Gordon Health Care. She was born in Lumpkin County, GA on September 2, 1931, daughter of the late Mark Lingerfelt, Sr. and the late Bertie Rider Lingerfelt. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, J.M. Tinch in 1966; and nine brothers and sisters.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Lamar and Tammy Tinch of Calhoun; a brother and sister-in-law, Grady and Ann Lingerfelt of Adairsville; and nieces and nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services for Mrs. Bessie Mae Tinch will be held Wednesday, April 13th at 2:00pm from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. J. Clinton Green officiating. Interment will follow in the Sardis Cemetery. Active pallbearers will include Jackie Petty, Frankie Blanton, Ronnie Lingerfelt, Jeff Lingerfelt, James Anderson, Johnny Anderson, and Randall Carnes.

The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Tuesday from 5:00pm until 9:00pm.
