Beth Thompson Paris

Ms. Beth Thompson Paris, age 53 of Calhoun, died Thursday, May 15, 2014 from injuries received in a motor vehicle accident in Dalton.

Beth was born in Gordon County on October 4, 1960, daughter of Johnny Mack Thompson and Emily Beth Campbell Thompson. She was a graduate of Calhoun High School, and was employed by Mohawk Industries as a Customer Support Specialist. She adored all animals, gardening, photography, and many other outdoor activities. She always greeted everyone with a smile and a hug. She was preceded in death by a nephew, Brian Goss in 2001.

Beth leaves behind a son and daughter-in-law, Noah Robert Paris and his wife Zelda of Acworth, GA; parents, Johnny Mack and Emily Beth Campbell Thompson of Calhoun; sister, Peggy Thompson Goss and her husband Larry of Beaver Creek, OH; a brother, Johnny Thompson and his wife Dee Dee of Calhoun; nieces and nephews, Jonathan Thompson, Tanna Thompson, Corey Goss and Jamie Fisher; an aunt, Christine Campbell Wallace of Calhoun; and special friends, John Ray, Diane Lewis and Hope Ray; along with other relatives and friends.

A service to celebrate the life of Beth Thompson Paris will be held Monday, May 19th at 2:00 PM from the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church near Red Bud, with Rev. Barry Brock officiating. Interment will follow in the Campbell Cemetery with Rev. Steven Cochran in charge of the grave side service. Music will be arranged by the Pleasant Hill Choir. Pallbearers serving will include Tracy Thompson, Jonathan Thompson, Corey Goss, Jeffrey Campbell, Dustin Fisher, Larry Goss, and Keith Knowles.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 18th between the hours of 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. Online condolences may be expressed at maxbrannonandsons.com.
