Betty Emogene Vaughn

Mrs. Betty Emogene Vaughn, age 74 of Ranger, passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at Murray Medical Center.

Mrs. Vaughn was born on January 19, 1936 in Montrey, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oden Henry Vaughn on March 17, 2001.

Survivors include three daughters, Becky Hitzeman and her husband Jim of Farmersville, Texas, Linda Lopez and her husband Frank of Santa Fe, New Mexico, and Kathie Bishop of Ellijay; two sons, Mike Hess of Acworth, and David Hess and his wife Brenda of Houston, Texas; a stepson, Kenny Vaughn and his wife Kelly of Dayton, Ohio; ten grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Emogene Vaughn will be conducted Saturday, October 23, 2010 at 2:00pm from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. David Ray officiating. Interment will follow the service in the Haven of Rest Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Friday from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.
