Betty Gail Silvers

June 16, 1949 — July 1, 2014

Betty Gail Silvers journeyed home to be with her precious Lord and Savior on July 1, 2014. She had been a long-time resident of Ranger, GA, born to the late Robert and Robbie Clayton House on June 16, 1949. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 48 years, Raymond J. Silvers.

Betty was retired from the textile industry with over 30 years of service. She was a member of Mount Carmel Church of Jesus Christ.

She leaves behind four brothers and sisters-in law, Bobby and Sybal House, Danny and Kay House, Mitch and Tina McStotts, and Lewis and Peggy House; two sisters, Judy Cochran and Donna Young and her husband Stanley; and several nieces and nephews.

The Silvers family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Friday, July 4th from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.

A graveside service will be held Friday, July 4th at 1:30 PM from the Haven of Rest Memorial Park, with Greg Powell officiating. Pallbearers will include Blake Young, Phillip House, Rex Evans, Laney House, Israel House, and Greg Cochran.

Services for Betty Gail Silvers are under the care and direction of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home of Calhoun.
