Obituary
Mrs. Betty Jane Pinter, 77, of Calhoun, Georgia departed this life on Tuesday, February 20, 2018, after years of declining health. She was born in Rutledge, TN. on February 24, 1940, a daughter of the late Burgess Gillette McDaniel and Agnes Mae (Foster) McDaniel. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Martin Pinter; brother, William Thomas McDaniel; and two nephews. Prior to her decline in health, she loved to read, play card games, and visit yard sales on the weekend. She always loved and welcomed time with her grandchildren; and she was a member of Notre Dame Catholic Church in Greeneville, TN.
Survivors include two daughters, Deborah Lynn (Aaron) Gwinner of Marietta; Donna Marie (John) Tolson of Calhoun; two sisters, Bessie Jean Johnston of Rutledge, and Jackie Mae LaFrinere of Port Orange, FL; one brother, James Robert McDaniel also of port Orange, FL. four grandchildren, Alexander Robert Gwinner, Joshua Blake Tolson, Jacob Daniel Tolson, and Ava Elizabeth Gwinner; and nieces and nephews who were very special to her. Funeral services will be held 12:00 P.M. Saturday, February 24, 2018 in the chapel of Smith-Reagan Funeral Home in Rutledge with Rev. Scott Green officiating. Interment to follow in Helton Springs Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends 11:00 A.M. till 12:00 P.M. prior to services, Saturday February 24, 2018 at the funeral home.
