Betty Jean Watkins

Mrs. Betty Jean Watkins, age 52, of Calhoun, passed away Thursday, June 21, 2007 at her residence. She was born in Ft. Walton Beach, FL on April 17, 1955, daughter of the late Dussie and Dorothy Mitchell Busby. Mrs. Watkins was a homemaker and was of the Assembly of God faith.

Survivors include her husband, William Robert Watkins; two sons; Travis Scott Watkins and Chad Derick Watkins; a daughter and son-in-law; Jessica Jean and Duane Harris; grandchildren; Taylor Jean Harris and Gavin Chad Watkins, and four other grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Jean Watkins will be conducted Sunday, June 24 at 2:00pm from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. A.J. Waters officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00am until the funeral hour.
