Obituary

Betty Jo Moss, 80, of Ranger, GA died Thursday, November 7, 2019. She was born in Oakman, GA on August 29, 1939, daughter of the late Will and Dimple Pearl Junkins Moss. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Bob Moss, Billy Moss, and Johnny Moss; and a sister, Doris Moss Horner.
Survivors include her sister, Mary Lee Smith of Ranger; her nieces, Patsy Lacey, Joyce Smith, and Brenda Smith; her nephews, David Moss, Larry Moss, Robert Moss, Dennis Moss, and Joey Smith; and dear friend, Pete Horner.
Services to honor her life will be held Sunday, November 10th at 3:00 PM from Hopewell Baptist Church, with Rev. Randy McClure and Rev. Reggie Temples officiating. Music will be arranged by Eldridge and Eva Lee Howell. Pallbearers serving will include Hayden Moss, Holden Moss, Hudson Moss, and Jimmy Lacey. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home on Sunday, November 10th from 12:00 noon until 2:00 PM.
