Bill Bradley Dean

Mr. Bill Bradley Dean, age 68 of Resaca, died Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at his residence. He was born in Gordon County on January 1, 1943, son of the late Chester and Lois Stanley Dean. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law, Lake and Dot Dean.

Mr. Dean was employed by Gordon County Schools as a bus driver.

Survivors include his companion, Jerry Ruth Gentry Dean; two sons, Brad Dean of Adairsville, and Michael Dean of Resaca; a daughter, Deborah Moore of Adairsville; a brother and sister-in-law, Lyle and Janell Dean of Adairsville; grandchildren, Ms. Jennifer Scoggins, Amy and Seth Thompson, Tony and Rana Moore, Ms. Brandy Dean, Andy L. Moore, Dustin and Kimberly Moore, Chris and Brittany Dean, and Ms. Paige Dean; and great-grandchildren, Kadin Scoggins, Braylen Scoggins, Gavin Thompson, Gracyn Thompson, Isah Moore, Autumn Moore, and Cole Dean. Other survivors include nephews, Nevin Weaver, Jimmy Dean, Danny Dean, Ronald Dean, and Kimsey Dean; nieces, JoAnn Weaver, Vicki Dean, Trina Dean, and April Dean; four great-nephews, and four great-nieces.

Funeral services for Mr. Bill Bradley Dean will be conducted Friday, March 4th at 11:00am from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Jimmy Dean officiating. Interment will follow in the Mount Zion Cemetery. Active pallbearers will include Kimsey Dean, Danny Dean, Ronald Dean, Kadin Scoggins, Braylen Scoggins, and Austin Dean. Honorary escorts are Brad Dean, Michael Dean, Tony Moore, Andy Moore, Chris Dean, Gavin Thompson, and Cole Dean.

The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Thursday from 4:00pm until 9:00pm.
