Obituary

Billy Bradley Cox, 75, of Calhoun, died Friday, September 28, 2018 at Gordon Hospital. He was born in Gordon County on July 2, 1943, son of the late John Henry and Bertie Sue Cox. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Pat Cox, in 1996.
Survivors include his children, Dede Thacker, Shirleen King, Sabrina Cummings, Denise Ferguson, and Christy Thomas; brothers, Lloyd Cox and Hanlan Cox; a sister, Alma Baker; grandchildren, Corey, Jamie, Michaela, Cayman, Brittany, Bailey, Chloe, Bre, and Rae; and eight great-grandchildren.
To honor his wishes, his body was cremated, and a private memorial service was held.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home of Calhoun.
