Billy Brock

Mr. Billy (Bill) Brock, age 56 of Calhoun, GA passed away April 18, 2011. Bill was born in Harlan, KY on May 19, 1954, son of the late Chester Brock and the late Dorothy Brock Saylor. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, David Brock and Eugene (Bud) Brock; and four sisters, Bertha Brock, Ellen Brock Forton, Brenda Brock Terry, and Louise Brock Lee.

He was an avid outdoor adventurer and loved spending time with his son and two granddaughters.

Survivors include a son, Billy Joel Brock of Calhoun; two granddaughters, Shaelyn Danielle Brock and Keiara Grace Brock; a daughter-in-law, Leigh Ann Brock; four sisters, Joyce Sheriff of Georgia, Bonny Warren of Mississippi, Ada Alford of Kentucky, and Hazel Segroves of Georgia; two brothers, Louis Brock of Michigan, and Jimmy Saylor of Tennessee; and a special niece, Donna Swann of Calhoun. Other nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside funeral services will be held Monday, May 23rd at 5:30pm at the Fain Cemetery in Calhoun, with Rev. Jack Sanford officiating.
