Bob Harkins

Mr. Bob Harkins, age 74 of Chattanooga, TN, died Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee following several years of declining health.

Mr. Harkins was born in Gordon County, GA, on September 11, 1939, son of the late Loy and Ola Bryan Harkins.

He is survived by two daughters, Kay Young and her husband Grady of Ranger, Georgia, and Faye Timms and her husband Gary of Resaca, Georgia; two sons, Kenneth Harkins and his wife April of Rydal, Georgia, and Bruce Harkins and his wife Robin of Calhoun, Georgia; a sister, Glenda Davis and her husband Jackson of Resaca; and two brothers, J.W. Harkins and his wife Pearl of Chatsworth, and Ed Harkins and his wife Donna of Sugar Valley. Grandchildren surviving are Kaleb and Luke Harkins of Rydal, Joshua and Seth Harkins of Calhoun, Eric Underwood of Calhoun, Tiffany and Greg Moore of Sugar Valley, and Cody and Christopher Timms of Resaca; and three great-grandchildren, Lilly and Zane Moore of Sugar Valley, and Chloe Underwood of Calhoun.

Funeral services for Mr. Bob Harkins will be held Sunday, January 4th at 2:00 PM from the graveside at Erwin Hill Church of God Cemetery, with Rev. Terry Timms officiating.
