Bob Tinch

Mr. Bob Tinch, age 79 of Calhoun passed away Thursday, March 29, 2007 at Gordon Health Care Center. He was born on April 14, 1927 son of the late James and Rosa Mae Cleary Tinch. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was a member of East Calhoun Church of God. Mr. Tinch was retired from Mohawk Industries and later worked at Kroger Supermarket.

Mr. Tinch was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Serritt Tinch; two sons, Randy and Kent Lee Tinch; one sister, Rosa Mae Tinch, and three brothers; J.M., Paul B. and Raymond Tinch. Three half brothers; George, Willard and Claude Hall also precedes him in death.

Survivors include two brothers; Bill and Grady Tinch of Calhoun; two sisters; Graple Headrick and Nell Hall, both of Calhoun; a grandson, Christopher Robert Tinch, and several nieces and nephews and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Bob Tinch will be conducted Saturday, March 31, 2007 at 3:00pm from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Jimmie Timms and Rev. Keith Reid officiating. Interment will follow in the Haven of Rest Memorial Park with military honors provided by the American Legion Post 112 honor guard. Active pallbearers will include Dallas Tinch, Jr., Mike Tinch, Lamar Tinch, Roger Tinch, Jeremy Tinch, and Tony Hall. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday between the hours of 6:00pm and 9:00pm.
