Bobbie Elizabeth Jeffords Henson, 73, of Ranger died at Floyd Medical Center on Friday, October 28, 2016, following several months of declining health. Bobbie was born in Darlington, South Carolina on August 14, 1943; she was the daughter of the late Herman and Mamie Stacey Jeffords. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Janie Henson; her brothers-in-law, Herbert Henson, Winfred Howington, Grady Goble, and Richard Howington. Bobbie was retired from General Motors, where she worked as a parts handler in the Swartz Creek, Michigan Plant. Survivors are her husband of more than forty-five years, D.L. Henson, of Ranger; her daughter, Traci Henson, of Rome; her sister, Linda Passmore; her brothers-in-law and their wives, Billy and Judy Henson, James and Joan Henson, Harvey Henson, and Dale Henson; Her sisters-in-law, Mae Howington, Rachael Goble, Shirley Howington, and Kay Quinn and her husband, Larry; a niece and her husband, Stacie and Carl Klocko; a great-niece, Ashlynne Klocko; a great-nephew, Karson Klocko; nieces, nephews, and other relatives. She loved her Grand-Puppy, Peanut. The Henson family will receive friends on Monday, October 31, 2016 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, November 1, 2016 from noon until 2:00 p.m. at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. The funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Haven Of Rest Memorial Park. Pastor Daron Henson will officiate. Friends may sign the online guest register at www.maxbrannonandsons.com. The funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home of Calhoun.
