Bobby Henry Gentry

Bobby Henry Gentry, 87, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2024. He was born in Rome, Georgia, on August 16, 1937, to the late Ted and Dora Hensley Gentry. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Edna Crider. 

Bobby is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Virginia Sue Gentry; son, David Henry Gentry; and granddaughter, Destiny Lynn Gentry. 

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM. 

The funeral service will follow on Wednesday at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Hibberts and Rev. Eddie Brannon officiating. Burial will follow in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers are Dennis McCallister, Tony McClure, Ted Crider, Larry Rogers, Charlie Allen, Larry Rawlins, Mike Green, Seth Green, and Charles Bradford.
