Obituary
Bobby Gerald Reeves, 80, of Calhoun, GA passed away peacefully on October 22, 2020 at Gordon Health & Rehabilitation. He was born on April 20, 1940 in Anniston, AL to the late Olen L. Reeves and Mary Jewell Reeves. He lived many years in Tampa, FL before moving to Calhoun, GA in 1968. He was preceded in death by his loving sons, Alan Reeves & Bobby Reeves; brothers, Tiny Reeves & Lewis Reeves; sisters, Myra Jean Reeves, Martha Watson, Meriam Miller, Cindy Blankenship & Betty Nations. He was married to his loving wife, Judy C. Reeves for 62 years.
Bobby G was a loving son, brother, husband, father, PaPa, uncle, and friend. He loved all things trucking. He started driving at the age of 14 and drove a semi truck at 16 years old. He was a co-founder and co-owner of Reeves Transportation and a co-owner of RRR Transportation with his 3 sons. He was a member of Belmont Baptist Church. He was a faithful servant that showed unconditional love to his whole family.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Reeves; son, Billy Reeves; daughter-in-law, Joy Reeves; grandchildren, Kim & (Jeff) Medlin, Jarrett & (Jennifer) Reeves, Ella & Evan Reeves, Koen Reeves; great-grandchildren, Layla Reeves, Jackson & Julie Reeves; sister, Jane Spano; sisters-in-law, Janice & (Tim) Wheless, (Ann) Reeves Lynch; daughter-like niece, Debra Cooper; and many other loved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The Reeves family will receive friends on Sunday, October 25, 2020 from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. at Belmont Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 3:00 p.m. from Belmont Baptist Church with Rev. Rodney Gilmore officiating. Pallbearers are Billy Reeves, Jarrett Reeves, Evan Reeves, Jeff Medlin, Tim Spano, Allen Cooper, and Bill Gallman. Honorary pallbearers are J.D. Pettett and Koen Reeves.
The family would like to thank the staff at Gordon Health and Rehab for their loving care of our precious PaPa.

It is suggested that a face-covering be worn and social distancing guidelines be followed while attendint the visitation/funeral service.
