Bobby Howard

Mr. Bobby (Rabbit) Howard, age 59 of Coer d'Alene, Idaho, formerly of Calhoun, passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2010. He was born in Floyd County on November 27, 1950, son of Nelle Baker Howard and the late Herman L. Howard.

Mr. Howard had retired from the Georgia State Department of Transportation, and had served in the Georgia Army National Guard.

Survivors include his mother, Nelle Baker Howard; a son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Sabrina Howard of Calhoun; a daughter, Kim Kelsoe of Calhoun; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Diane and Rick Adams of Tampa, Florida, and Carol and Archie Duvall of Armuchee; six grandchildren, Ashley Pigman, Shelby Goodner, Colton Kelsoe, Chasity Howard, C.J. Howard, and Charity Howard; and a great-grandchild, Layla Pigman. Nieces and nephews, Chuck Bishop, Jami Aspenwall, Deona Cole, and Nathan Adams; and other relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Bobby (Rabbit) Howard will be conducted Friday, November 19th at 2:00pm from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Gary Quarles officiating. Interment will follow in the Gaines Cemetery. Active pallbearers will include Chuck Langston, Charlie Aspenwall, Bo Harris, Thomas Pigman, Billy Howard, and Fite Casey.

The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Thursday from 5:00pm until 9:00pm.
