Bobby Leonard Moore

Mr. Bobby Leonard Moore, age 64 of Calhoun, passed away Friday, January 23, 2009 at Emory University Hospital. He was born on November 29, 1944 in Cobb County, son of the late Allen Moore and Nettie Reddings Moore, and was also preceded in death by his wife, Vera Blanchard Moore. During his lifetime he served his country, and retired from the United States Army, having served in the Vietnam War. He also retired from the North American Container Corporation. He was a member of Rose Lane Baptist Church in Marietta, and a member of the National Rifleman's Association.

Mr. Moore is survived by two daughters, Cindy Stephens and her husband Scott of Dallas, Georgia, and Lynn Cantrell and her husband Chris of Rydal; and two grandsons, Cody Moore and Parker Cantrell.

Funeral services for Mr. Bobby Leonard Moore will be conducted Sunday at 2:00 pm from the chapel of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Eddie Brannon officiating. Interment will follow the service in Gordon Memorial Gardens. The American Legion Post 112 Honor Guard of Dalton is conducting the graveside military honors. The family will receive friends at Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home Saturday between the hours of 2:00pm and 9:00pm.
