Bobby Ray Smith

Mr. Bobby Ray Smith, 68 of Calhoun, died Friday, June 24, 2016 at Gordon Hospital following several months of declining health. He was born in Whitfield County on May 27, 1948, son of Daisy Lucille Smith and the late Henry Smith.

Survivors include his mother, Daisy Lucille Beets; a brother, Glen Taylor; sisters and brothers-in-law, Pam and Tommy Pass, and Patricia and Randy Mashburn, all of Calhoun; and a nephew, Ryan Taylor and his wife Meagan.

Services to honor the life of Mr. Bobby Ray Smith will be held Saturday, June 25th at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Eddie Brannon officiating. Interment will follow in Fain Cemetery. Pallbearers will include Tommy Pass, Ryan Taylor, Donald Taylor, Donnie Taylor, Nickie Chastain, Dustin Golliher, and Kevin Bilvrey.

The Smith family will receive friends at the funeral home after the funeral service.
