Mrs. Bonnie Lynn McHugh West, age 50, of Plainville, Georgia, passed away on Monday, August 21, 2006, at Floyd Medical Center. Mrs. West was born in Cobb County on November 6, 1955, daughter of the late J.W. (Mac) McHugh and Virginia Reese McHugh. She was a member of Reeves Baptist Church, and was preceded in death by a niece, Stephanie Cronon Payne.
Survivors include her husband of 29 years, Gary West; a son, Cody Michael West; a sister, Dianne Cronon of Calhoun; a brother, Phillip McHugh of Clifford, Pennsylvania; sister-in-law, Joan Rickett and her husband David of Calhoun; mother-in-law, Jeanette West of Plainville; and father-in-law, A.W. West of Calhoun.
Funeral services for Mrs. Bonnie West will be conducted Wednesday at 2:00pm from the chapel of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Clinton Carver and Rev. Stephen Baker officiating. Music will be arranged by Stephen and Patty Baker. Interment will follow in the Fain Cemetery. Active pallbearers will include Wesley Kerce, Keith Cronon, Layne Temple, Jim Burns, Ray Kirby, Rusty Kown, and Edward Fowler. These gentlemen are asked to meet at the funeral home at 1:15pm on Wednesday. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 7:00pm until 9:00pm.
