Mrs. Bonnie Ruth Freeman, age 60 of Sugar Valley, died Monday, February 18, 2008 at her residence.
Mrs. Freeman was born on January 17, 1948 in Coleman, Texas, daughter of the late Carlton and Dorothy Ruth Dyer Jackson. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, James Jackson and Douglas Jackson. She was a member of Graves Memorial Church.
Mrs. Freeman is survived by her husband, Lonnie Stephen Freeman to whom she was married for nine years; three daughters, Crystal Marie Gilbert and her husband, Randy of Calhoun, Penny Michelle Buchanan and her husband Michael, of Jasper, and Marsha Denise Thibodean and her husband Joseph of Jasper; two sons, Keith Eugene Blaylock and his wife Heather of Calhoun, and Scott Lynn Nolls and his wife Hope of Calhoun; two sisters, Carlene Turner and Brenda Freeman both of Calhoun, and one brother, Dale Jackson of Calhoun. Eleven grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive. A special thanks to her daughter-in-law; Heather Blaylock for all her help during Bonnie's illness.
Funeral services for Mrs. Bonnie Ruth Freeman will be conducted Wednesday at 3:00 p.m., from the Chapel of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Matt Futch, Rev. Rob Long, and Rev. Delmar Ledford officiating. Interment will follow in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Active pallbearers serving will include Keith Blaylock, Scott Nolls, Joseph Thibodeau, Michael Buchanan, Jerry Turner and Michael Freeman. Honorary pallbearers serving will include Randy Gilbert, Brian Gilbert, John Turner, Lamar Turner, Ben Turner and Ricky Freeman. The family will receive friends at Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home Tuesday evening during the hours of 4:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
