Bonnie Sue Chamlee

Mrs. Bonnie Sue Chamlee, age 61 of Calhoun, passed away Monday, December 31, 2007 at Redmond Regional Medical Center. She was born in Rome, GA on March 28, 1946, daughter of the late Jesse James and Frances Irene Crumley. During her lifetime, she was employed in the textile industry as a machine operator.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Chamlee was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Warren Chamlee, and a grandson, Bobby Glenn Burchett.

Survivors include four sons; James Chamlee, Gary Chamlee, Thomas Chamlee, and Jesse Chamlee and his wife Maria, all of Calhoun; a daughter; Marlene Burchett and her husband Jerry of Calhoun; a sister, Elizabeth Brown of Rome; and grandchildren, T.J. Burchett, Bobby Burchett, and Katlin Chamlee. Uncles, nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Bonnie Sue Chamlee will be conducted at 2:00pm Thursday, January 3, from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Glenn Burchett and Rev. Gay Grizzle officiating. Pallbearers serving will include Chris Chamlee, Michael Chamlee, Lamar Holland, Wayne Bench, Shann Cochran and Michael Jarvis. These gentlemen are asked to assemble at Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home Thursday at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday after 3:00pm.
