Brenda Gail Black

Brenda Gail Black, 58, of Calhoun, died Monday, January 8, 2018 at Redmond Regional Medical Center, following several years of declining health. She was born in Gordon County on October 19, 1959, daughter of the late Louis Jack and Pauline Long Leatherwood.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Kimberly Black; her daughters and son-in-law, Susan and Jimmy McRee, and Eileen Black and Bubba West, all of Calhoun; and her grandchildren, Justen Black, Ethan McRee, and Gwyndolyn Black.

Services to honor the life of Brenda Gail Black will be held Thursday, January 11th at 7:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. Honoring her wishes, her body will be cremated following the service.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, from 5:00 PM until the service hour of 7:00 PM.
