Brenda Jean Self

Brenda Jean Self, 65, of Calhoun, Georgia passed away on Friday, March 10, 2023. She was born on April 15, 1957 in Rome, Georgia to the late Johnny and Mary Prater Self.

Brenda was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed crafting with and for them. She loved to see her family happy. She was employed by Shaw for 20 years.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Candi (Tony) Ivey; grandchildren, Trent Turner, Cheyenne Turner, and Little John Turner; great grandchildren, Sierra Turner, Kayleigh, Kimberleigh, and Kaiser Smith; brothers and sister-in-law, Jermie (Tina) Self and Jerry Self; sisters and brothers-in-law, Margie Henry, Melissa Stanley (Ricky Miller), and Evelyn (Kenneth) King; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.

To honor her wishes her body was cremated and there will be no services at her request.
