Obituary

Mrs. Brenda Louise Hudgins Mantooth, 60, of Calhoun, passed away Sunday, November 7, 2021, at CHI Memorial Hospital Georgia in Ft. Oglethorpe, GA after several months of declining health.
Mrs. Mantooth was born in Rome, Georgia on November 13, 1960, the daughter of the late Jesse and Lula Mae Evans Hudgins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Mantooth in 2017 and by a brother, Larry Hudgins. Prior to her disability, she was employed by Mannington of Calhoun and she was a member of Oothcalooga Baptist Church in Adairsville.
Survivors include two sons, Charlie Gibson and his wife, Megan Heaphy of Tucker, Georgia, and Michael Gibson and his wife Chloe Archambault of St. Charles, Missouri; sister, Shirley Pack; brother, Tony Hudgins along with other relatives.
The funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, November 16th at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Hunt officiating. Burial will follow in Cassville Cemetery in Cassville, Georgia.
The family will receive friends on Monday, November 15th between the hours of 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
