Mr. Brian Brown, age 42 of Plainville, died Friday, April 22, 2011. He was born in Floyd County on August 21, 1968, son of Vivian Edwards Brown and the late Larry Ray Brown. In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Susan Brown; and grandparents, O.C. and Nellie Bailey, and Edmon and Edna Brown.
Brian was an avid hunter and fisherman, and was a loving son and father. He was a member and deacon of Moss Memorial Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Diane Hufstetler Brown; his mother, Vivian Edwards Brown; two sons, Jacob Brown and Kayla Rickett, and Matthew Brown, all of Fairmount; five brothers, Dewayne Brown and Keith Brown, both of Plainville, David Hufstetler and Timmy Hufstetler, both of Fairmount, and Michael Hufstetler and his wife Amanda of Fairmount; two sisters, Crystal Smith and her husband Keith of Calhoun, and Linda Willis of Fairmount; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Charles and Kathie Hufstetler of Fairmount. Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.
Funeral services for Mr. Brian Brown will be held Monday, April 25th at 2:00pm from the Moss Memorial Baptist Church, with Rev. Boyd Manis officiating. Interment will follow in the Scott Cemetery. Active pallbearers will include Josh Woolum, Casey Raines, Zac Grizzle, Bryce Dunn, Nathan Clark, and Jacob Towe.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00pm until 9:00pm at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
