Bruce Duane Tanner

Mr. Bruce Duane Tanner, age 76, of Resaca, passed away Thursday, February 15, 2007 at Regal Residence. He was born in Gordon County on June 25, 1930, son of the late Walter Ernest and Katie Bell Thompson Tanner. Mr. Tanner was a member of the Resaca First Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers; Frankie and Tony Tanner, and a sister; Opal Mealor. Survivors include a niece, Laura Tanner of Atlanta, and a number of other nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services for Mr. Bruce Duane Tanner will be conducted at 2:00pm on Sunday, February 18, 2007 from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Harold Blackstock officiating. Interment will follow in the Fain Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday between the hours of 7:00pm and 9:00pm.
