Buster Leroy Franklin Sr.

Buster LeRoy Franklin Sr., 78, of Ranger died at Gordon Hospital on Sunday, July 16, 2017 following several months of declining health. Buster was born in Lafayette on January 19, 1939; he was the son of the late Charlie and Janie Franklin. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, William Franklin and Lonnie Franklin.
Buster is survived by his loving wife, Annie Franklin; his sons and daughter-in-law, Buster and Sally Franklin Jr., and Eddie Franklin; his daughter and her fianc, Diane Thomas and William Woody; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Bunt and James Morrison, Gracie and Claudius Morrison, Mollie and Lynn Carpenter, and Becky and Terry Millsap; his grandchildren, Teresa Franklin and Shannon McCeary, Cody Franklin, Dustin Franklin, and Ashley Franklin; his great-grandchildren, Miracle McCeary, Nevaeh McCeary, and Destini McCeary; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
The Franklin family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 18th from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m.
The funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the family plot at White Cemetery near Villanow. Bro. Junior Williams will officiate. Pallbearers are Shannon McCeary, Dustin Franklin, Cody Franklin, Fred Allen Williams, Billy Hilbert, and Ronnie Williams.
