Calbert Louis Cundiff

Mr. Calbert Louis Cundiff, age 73 of Calhoun, passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at his home following several months of declining health. He was born in Vicco, KY on June 8, 1941, son of the late Fred and Stella Adams Cundiff. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry Cundiff and Ronnie Cundiff.

Mr. Cundiff was retired from Crane Manufacturing; he attended Pleasant Valley Baptist Church.

He leaves behind his wife of 53 years, Katie Jane Chapman Cundiff; three sons, Roger Cundiff and his wife Leah of Sharpsburg, GA, and Jeff Cundiff and Jason Cundiff, both of Calhoun; three brothers, Harry Cundiff of Covington, KY, Fred Cundiff and his wife Linda of Roseville, IL, and Ike Cundiff and his wife Cris of Abingdon, IL; six sisters, Yvonne Noe and her husband Ronald of Booneville, IN, Annette Nickles of California, KY, Gail Campbell and her husband Dean of Viper, KY, Gene Combs of Jeff, KY, Vicki Carter of Hazard, KY, and Ruby Pool of Bushnell, IL; and two grandchildren, Tyler Cundiff and Ethan Cundiff.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Calbert Louis Cundiff will be held Monday, November 10th at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Tommy Phillips officiating. Interment will follow in Haven of Rest Memorial Park.

The Cundiff family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, November 8th from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
