Camryn McLaine Pass was born June 22, 1993 in Rome, GA and died October 9, 2011 in Lumpkin County, GA after sustaining injuries in an automobile accident.
She was a 2011 Calhoun High School Honor Graduate and a freshman at North Georgia College in Dahlonega, GA. Camryn was a CHS Varsity Basketball Cheerleader her freshman through her junior year. She was a member of Sigma Lambda. She was an active member of the Baptist Collegiate Ministries, and performed with Speechless at North Georgia College. Camryn interned for the Gordon County Clerk of Superior Court's office. She was a member of New Echota United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Janet Ables Hamilton, and an uncle, Jamie Long.
Survivors include her parents, Toby and Davina Long Pass; a sister, Cortney Brooke Pass; grandparents, Jim and Cheryl Holmes Long, and Steve and Janice Pass; Aunts and Uncles, Michael and Tara (Tay- Tay) Zapp, Corey and Terra Pass, and Jacob and Noah Hamilton; and special cousins, J.D. Zapp and Olivia Pass. Several other aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.
Funeral arrangements are as follows: Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 11 from 4:00-9:00 at Trinity Baptist Church. Funeral will be Wednesday, October 12 at 2:00 at Trinity Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Chandler Cemetery, with Rev. Keith Willard, Rev. Eddie Brannon, and Rev. Brent Smith officiating. Pallbearers will be Zane Pass, Steven Moore, Mason Woodard, Alan Bridwell, Tucker Bridwell, Keith Stroup, Benjamin Stroup and Elijah Stroup.
Honorary Pallbearers will be the Glamour Girls Hall of North Georgia College.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Children's Miracle Network.
